Description
Eva was appointed Head of the Policies and Networks Division in the Development Co-operation Directorate in 2024. In this role, she oversees the Directorate's work on climate change, biodiversity and sustainable ocean, including analysis on mobilising private finance for environmental objectives.
She joined the Organisation in 2013 and held different roles in the Public Governance Directorate and the Executive Directorate prior to joining the Development Co-operation Directorate. Before joining the OECD, Eva was Deputy Chief of Staff and Budget Advisor to a member of the Belgian Federal Government, and she held various positions within the Belgian Development Agency. She was also a researcher and fellow at the Public Governance Institute (KU Leuven).
A Belgian national, Eva holds a PhD in Social Sciences (Public Management) from KU Leuven University, higher degrees in both Economics and Business Administration (KU Leuven), and a master's degree in Project Evaluation and Management (Institute of Development Policy, Antwerp) and Social and Cultural Anthropology (KU Leuven).
