Description
Tom Gosling is Professor in Practice and Director of the Initiative in Sustainable Finance within the Financial Markets Group at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
Tom publishes on sustainable investing, executive compensation, and fiduciary duty in finance and law journals. His co-authored paper Sustainable Investing in Practice: Objectives, Constraints, and Limits to Impact won the PRI Best Academic Paper Prize 2024. He has also written extensively in practitioner-oriented formats at the LSE and the CFA Institute, the Investor Forum, and the European Corporate Governance Institute.
Tom is also a member of the Financial Conduct Authority’s Sustainable Finance Advisory Committee and a Senior Visting Fellow at the LSE Law School. He previously had 20+ years of experience as a board adviser. He was a senior Partner at PwC where he established and led the firm’s executive pay practice, advising multinational companies on corporate governance and executive pay.
