Description
Michael Mullan leads the OECD’s work programme on climate-resilient finance and investment, helping governments mobilise public and private finance for climate adaptation. He co-leads implementation of the OECD Climate Adaptation Investment Framework, including engagement with national governments and international processes such as the G20.
From 2019 to 2021, Michael was seconded to the Global Center on Adaptation, where he developed its programme on infrastructure and nature-based solutions. Before joining the OECD in 2011, he was an Economic Adviser in the UK Government and led the economic analysis underpinning the United Kingdom’s first National Adaptation Programme.
Michael holds an undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford and a master’s degree in development economics from SOAS University of London.
