Description

Luna Montozzi is a climate and development finance specialist with 10 years of experience at the intersection of development finance and climate action. She currently serves as Climate Finance Advisor at the Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security (MASE), on secondment from Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP), where she contributes to Italy’s international climate finance agenda, including the Italian Climate Fund. She has worked extensively with multilateral development banks, public development institutions and international organisations. Her expertise spans climate finance mobilisation and tracking, as well as the design and implementation of climate and environmental investments. Her previous experience with the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) has given her a strong perspective on development and climate challenges in emerging economies, particularly in Latin America and the Caribbean. Her current focus is on scaling finance for Nature-based Solutions and sustainable, climate-resilient infrastructure across Africa and Central Asia.
