Description
Alessandra Mistura is a policy analyst in the Sustainable Investment Unit of the OECD Investment Division, where she works on international investment law and policy, with a focus on investment facilitation, legal and regulatory frameworks, and the contribution of foreign direct investment to sustainable development. She contributes to OECD Investment Policy Reviews, supports legislative and institutional reform processes, and delivers technical assistance and capacity-building to partner countries. She also contributes to flagship OECD reports and international policy dialogues. Prior to joining the OECD, she led the Investment Support Programme for Least Developed Countries at the International Development Law Organisation and served as a policy officer with the International Senior Lawyers Project.
Alessandra holds a law degree from the University of Parma, an LL.M. from Columbia Law School, and a PhD in international law from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva.
