Description
My name is Lars Rønningen Sandbu, and I serve as a Legal Adviser in the Tax Law Department at the Norwegian Ministry of Finance. For the past seven years, I have specialized in value added tax, with a particular focus on cross-border trade in goods and services. My work has included the implementation of Norway’s VAT regime for low-value imported goods in 2020. More recently, I have contributed to a major reform on the VAT treatment of Multi-Location Entities’ service purchases, which was adopted by the Norwegian Parliament last year.
