Description
Eduardo Jiménez is a policy advisor in the Value-Added Tax Unit of the OECD’s Centre for Tax Policy and Administration (CTPA). With over a decade of experience in VAT policy and administration, Eduardo has led the OECD’s research and work on electronic invoicing and digital reporting for VAT purposes. Before joining the OECD, Eduardo served as a legal adviser for the Indirect Taxes Unit of the Chilean Tax Administration (Servicio de Impuestos Internos), where he played a key role in establishing the regulatory framework in 2017 for introducing a centralised electronic VAT ledger based on electronic invoicing data and the pre-filling of VAT returns in Chile.
