Description
Christophe Waerzeggers is Deputy Division Chief in the Tax Policy Division of the Fiscal Affairs Department of the IMF. Before joining the Fiscal Affairs Department, he was Senior Tax Counsel in the Legal Department of the IMF. In his current role, Christophe provides oversight over the Division’s capacity development and tax policy agenda. He also represents the Fund in the Platform for Collaboration on Tax comprising the IMF, the OECD, the World Bank and the United Nations. Before joining the Fund, he was a university lecturer in comparative tax law in the Netherlands and a tax lawyer in Belgium.
