Currently on leave from his position as Researcher at Ipea, he previously served as Director of the Federal Senate’s Independent Fiscal Institution (IFI) and of the Ministry of Finance’s Extraordinary Secretariat for Tax Reform (SERT/MF). An expert in macroeconomics and fiscal policy, with an extensive research portfolio on public finance, taxation, and inequality.
