Her broad background includes serving as Global Head of Tax at major cryptocurrency exchanges, blockchain protocols, and Web3 gaming software companies. She is a dedicated advocate, actively working to shape the tax rules and frameworks for this emergent industry to resolve the challenges of applying current regulations to digital assets.
Previously, Lisa spent over two decades as an international tax advisor, including roles in the national office of a Big 4 Accounting Firm in Washington, D.C., and as Special Counsel at a law firm serving financial institutions and banks, and in Silicon Valley where she first gained exposure to the crypto industry.
Lisa holds an LL.M. in Taxation Law from New York University School of Law, a J.D. from George Washington University, and a B.A. from Brandeis University.
