Description
Karl Flöhr is a Technical Attaché in the Policy & Standards Directorate of the World Customs Organization (WCO). He works in the Data and Technology Unit on Digital Customs, the WCO Data Model and modernization of clearance processes for small parcels and postal items.
He contributes to the review and implementation of the WCO Framework of Standards on Cross-Border E-Commerce and engages with Members and stakeholders on interoperability and digital policy development.
Karl has been part of the WCO Data Model Projects Team since 2018 and supports work on global data harmonisation and information exchange. Prior to joining the WCO, he served as a Senior Adviser at Swedish Customs, contributing to digital transformation and the implementation of the EU Customs Code.
