Description
Kristel Tonstad is Policy Director at Norway’s National Contact Point for Responsible Business Conduct. Previously, she served as head of secretariat of the Ethics Information Committee, which developed the proposal for the Norwegian Transparency Act. She has worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Norway on policies on human rights and responsible business conduct and at the Norwegian embassy in Cairo, Egypt. Kristel has prior experience working with UNICEF in Haiti and with the Norwegian Refugee Council. She has a law degree from the University of Oslo and an MA in Public Policy from Harvard University.
