Description

Alexandria leads global policy for human rights and responsible business at Google. Alexandria founded Google’s Human Rights Program and is responsible for coordinating and driving the company-wide human rights strategy, using approaches grounded in business and human rights. Based in Washington, DC, Alexandria coordinates policy and strategy on a broad portfolio of human rights issues, including freedom of expression, transparency, and rights-respecting AI. She represents Google at the Global Network Initiative (GNI) and Freedom Online Coalition Advisory Network. Prior to joining Google, Alexandria’s work focused on civil rights and liberties, transparency, rule of law, and judicial issues. Alex holds a B.A. in political science from American University and a J.D. from University of San Francisco School of Law.
