Biography

Sabrina Salama is Head of MENA Partnerships at, where she leads entrepreneurship and innovation initiatives across the Middle East and North Africa, with a strong focus on inclusive entrepreneurship and women-led innovation. She works with governments, development finance institutions, corporates, and ecosystem actors to design and implement programs that support entrepreneurs in accessing finance, building scalable businesses, and navigating digital transformation across emerging markets. Over the past years, Sabrina has led and contributed to multiple regional initiatives dedicated to advancing women’s entrepreneurship, supporting women founders through acceleration programs, investment readiness support, ecosystem-building, and policy engagement across the MENA region and Sub-Saharan Africa. In parallel, Sabrina serves as Egypt’s National Coordinator for the OECD-EU project on Enhancing Women Entrepreneurs’ Financial Inclusion in the Southern Mediterranean, where she leads the development of Egypt’s National Action Plan to strengthen women’s access to finance and foster a more enabling environment for women-led businesses. Passionate about the intersection of gender, innovation, and economic development, Sabrina advocates for more culturally grounded and accessible support systems for women entrepreneurs, particularly in emerging and underserved markets.
