Biography
Alicja Wejdner-Cichy is an economist and DEI expert at the Polish Confederation Lewiatan (member of BusinessEurope and Business at OECD (BIAC)). Her work focuses on women’s economic participation, inclusive workplaces, and the role of business in addressing structural inequalities in the labour market. She is a PhD candidate in Economics at SGH Warsaw School of Economics in Poland, with research interests in gender gaps in the labour market, particularly in pay, participation, and career progression. She has completed research visits at the European University Institute (EUI) and King’s College London (KCL), and collaborated with institutions such as the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) and the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR). She is also a member of the International Association for Feminist Economics (IAFFE).
