Biography
The Honourable Anika Wells MP is the Australian Minister for Communications and Minister for Sport, and Federal Member for Lilley located in Brisbane’s North.
She became a parliamentarian to be a good ancestor, a valued member of her community and to ensure millennials have a seat at the decision- making table.
In her role as Minister for Communications, she oversees significant reforms including implementing the world-leading Social Media Minimum Age and advancing a digital duty of care.
