Description
Digital transformation and the move towards a greener and more sustainable economy and society – increasingly referred to jointly as the “twin transitions” – are presenting many opportunities to leverage digital technologies to secure a greener future. Digital tools can help develop more energy efficient products and systems, and nudge consumers and businesses to make greener choices. Notwithstanding, digital technologies also have environmental impacts of their own, including increasing energy consumption and use of raw materials.
This panel cutting across artificial intelligence, connectivity and consumer empowerment, government, business and civil society stakeholders will outline how to maximise the potential of digital technologies and e-commerce business models in driving green growth, whilst minimising risks.
