Dr. Ali Taha KoƧ was born in Ankara in 1980. After finishing his undergraduate degree in 2001 at Bilkent University, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, he completed his master's and doctorate studies in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas at Dallas, all with full scholarships. KoƧ joined Intel USA in 2006 as an engineer. During his tenure at Intel, he developed 61 patents, published 23 scientific articles, and developed and managed several international projects. In 2013, Intel awarded KoƧ as one of the top 10 most patent inventors. After returning to TĆ¼rkiye in 2014, he started to work as the Prime Ministry's Chief Counselor. In the same year, he was appointed as the Head of Information Technologies of the Presidency. He also managed the formation of the State Information Coordination Center (SICC) in the Presidency Security Policies Department. By the discretion of H.E. President Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN, KoƧ was appointed as the Head of the Digital Transformation Office on 12 September 2018. In addition to his duties at the Presidency, he is also a board member of TURKSAT Satellite Communications Cable TV and Business Inc. KoƧ teaches graduate and doctorate courses at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Bilkent University. He is also a licensed pilot.
