Ann-Mari Kemell is a State Secretary in two Finnish Ministries: Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment and Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. She holds two university degrees, first of which is a master’s degree in economics from the University of Tampere (2003) and the second degree is a bachelor of laws (2017) from the University of Helsinki.
Ann-Mari Kemell was appointed State Secretary in April 2022. Prior to this, she worked as a Special Adviser to the Minister of Finance in matters relating to economic and tax policies. Furthermore, she was the Director of Economic and Industrial policy in the Finland Chamber of Commerce from 2015 to 2019. State Secretary Kemell has also worked as a Senior Specialist in corporate and capital taxation at the Ministry of Finance.
