Description
Engin Bumbacher is Hasler Professor of CS Education and Education Technology at the University of Teacher Education Vaud (HEP Vaud), Switzerland.
He is an expert in the design of novel learning technologies for supporting and evaluating various STEM competencies, and in the development of process-based assessment of competencies through interactive web-applications. His work has been published among others in Nature Biotechnology, Journal of Science Education and Technology, British Journal of Educational Technology, and International Journal of Artificial Intelligence in Education.
He is a member of the expert groups for both the OECD’s PILA project and the PISA 2025 Learning in the Digital World frameworks.
