Description

Ada Ignaciuk is the Head of the Climate Change, Environment and Resources Unit in the Trade and Agriculture Directorate of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). She leads the Unit’s work in providing scientific, technical, and policy guidance to governments on implementing sustainable and resilient agrifood systems. Her main areas of expertise include the economics of climate change and sustainable food production. She holds a PhD from Wageningen University in the Netherlands. Before joining the OECD, she worked at the Agrifood Economics Division (ESA) of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), where she led the Economic and Policy Analysis of Climate Change (EPIC) team and served as Chief Editor of The State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World (SOFI) report.
