Description

Michael Mueller is a Policy Analysis in the Health Division within the OECD Directorate of Employment, Labour and Social Affairs. He works on a variety of topics on health data and policies with a focus on health financing, health statistics, indicator development and health system performance assessment more broadly. He coordinates OECD’s annual data collection on health expenditure and financing and led the development to measure the carbon footprint of health systems combining OECD's health expenditure data and OECD Inter-Country Input-Output (ICIO) tables. Before joining the OECD, Michael worked in the pharmaceutical sector in the Netherlands and in the Health Division of the German Federal Statistical Office. He holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Konstanz.
