Description
Elīna Smetaņina is a Policy Analyst at the OECD with a focus on sustainability, policy co-ordination and service delivery. She currently leads the analytical work on the greening of public administration, aiming to explore country progress in this area and to establish a comprehensive approach to a more climate and environmentally friendly public sector. Elīna works with numerous countries, including Ukraine, Morocco, Moldova and Uzbekistan.
Before the OECD, Elīna worked at the Parliament of the Republic of Latvia, supporting Members of Parliament on policy development, society outreach and stakeholder engagement. Elīna also has an extensive experience in NGO sector, working with the youth of the Baltic states on security, gender and climate.
