Description
Marco Marchese is a Policy Analyst and Project Co-ordinator at the OECD Centre for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Regions and Cities, which he joined in 2007. At the OECD, he has led work on country reviews of SME and entrepreneurship policies, including in Latin America (Brazil and Mexico), the green transition of SMEs and SME productivity. His work has recently covered both OECD economies (e.g. Portugal, Czech Republic, United Kingdom) and non-OECD economies (e.g. Vietnam and Indonesia). Prior to joining the OECD, he worked in the UN International Labour Organisation and the Italian Prime Minister’s Office. He holds a master’s degree in development economics from the University of Rome II.
