Fernando Pessanha is Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Hydnum Steel and brings over 25 years of experience in the steel industry. His career includes leadership positions such as Vice President of Operations at Gerdau in Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay, and CEO of Gerdau Corsa in Mexico. He has also served on the boards and executive committees of the World Steel Association, Canacero, and Instituto Aço Brasil. Fernando holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the State University of Rio de Janeiro, along with two Executive MBAs from Insper-SP and FGV-SP. His education is complemented by executive programs in Marketing (Stanford), Strategy (INSEAD), and Corporate Governance (Kellogg School of Management).
