Description
Raju Pandit Chhetri brings over 17 years of experience in environment and development. For over a decade, he has been involved in international climate change policy processes under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Paris Agreement. As one of the coordinators of the Climate Finance Team of the Least Developed Countries Group under the UNFCCC process, he works to strengthen climate financing efforts for LDCs. Raju also advises LDC Board members of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and the Fund for Responding to Loss and Damage (FLD). He currently leads the Prakriti Resources Centre (PRC), an environmental and development organization based in Kathmandu, Nepal. He also serves as a member of the Climate Finance Technical Committee in the Ministry of Finance, Nepal. Raju has authored various publications on climate change primarily focusing on finance.
