Description

Kathrine von Graevenitz is deputy head of the unit Environmental and Climate Economics at the ZEW - Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research in Mannheim, Germany, and Professor of Empirical Environmental Economics at the University of Mannheim. Her research focuses on quantifying the effects of climate policies on firms’ environmental and economic performance, understanding energy use patterns in manufacturing, and the role of policy for household technology adoption in the energy transition. Her work has been published in international peer-reviewed journals in environmental and energy economics. Prior to joining the ZEW she was a senior economist at the Secretariat of the Danish Economic Councils and a pre-doctoral fellow at Arizona State University. She holds a PhD from University of Copenhagen.
