Description
Susana Vargas is a political scientist and lawyer from Universidad del Rosario (Colombia), with experience in the analysis and design of public policies aimed at promoting the business development of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises. At the MSME Directorate of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, she supports the formulation and monitoring of programs that foster sustainable productive linkages, particularly within the agribusiness and bioeconomy sectors, to strengthen the productive and commercial capacities of Colombian enterprises. She also leads the design of the roadmap for mainstreaming the gender approach into business development strategies and initiatives that promote women’s economic autonomy and support other groups under special constitutional protection.
