Description

Pierre Sarliève contributes to the work of the OECD Secretariat on the governance of emerging and converging technologies. Trained in history, public policy and economics, he brings experience from across OECD directorates, where he has led work on agile regulation, risk-based approaches to AI and addressing the regulatory challenges posed by emerging technologies to support responsible innovation, including those that cross sectoral and jurisdictional boundaries. He has contributed to OECD papers on mapping regulatory approaches to AI governance, agile regulatory approaches to promote innovation and the future of regulation. His current work focuses on unlocking investment in biomanufacturing and applying the OECD Framework for Anticipatory Governance of Emerging Technologies in biotechnologies, while contributing to the evaluation of national innovation policy programmes.
