Description
Julia Gaus is a Junior Professional Officer (JPO) in the Climate Club Secretariat jointly hosted by the IEA and the OECD where she works on member engagement and collaborative approaches to advance industrial decarbonisation and green industrial development.
Before joining the Climate Club Secretariat she worked as an advisor on climate policies, NDCs, sustainable urban development and climate finance at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Peru, Ecuador and Germany.
Julia holds a Master’s degree in Climate Change, Development and Policy from the University of Sussex and the Institute of Development Studies Brighton, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations: Politics and History from Jacobs University (now Constructor University) Bremen.
