Description

Mamaa is driven by a keen desire to serve and transform her community. She holds a First-Class Honors Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana and a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Transportation, from Tennessee Technological University, U.S.A. After graduating with her Master’s degree, she gained some work experience in the U.S. and worked on projects, involving the conduct of traffic impact analysis, traffic operations, and documentation of mobility profiles for City Plans. In 2019, Mamaa relocated to Ghana and continues to gain more experience in the engineering consultancy sector. Particularly, she is honing in on her skills in project management, and supports Business Development strategies for Transitec’s International Market. She joined Transitec in April 2021 as the Project Facilitator for the Ghana Urban Mobility and Accessibility Project (GUMAP). GUMAP seeks to improve accessibility and mobility in the Greater Accra Metropolitan Area (GAMA) through technical assistances, studies, trainings, and data collection.
