Charlène Kouassi has started her career in a local startup incubator in Abidjan in 2018 right after she graduated in Emerging countries’s development dynamics from the Geography Institute of Paris. She jumped into the mobility world through the African Mobilities Observatory that became Movin’On LAB Africa in 2021. She is now managing Movin’On LAB Africa, a think and do tank dedicated to sustainable mobility in Africa within the Movin’On ecosystem. Nominated Remarkable Feminist Voice of Transport in 2023 by the TUMI/GIZ initiative « Women Mobilize Women », she advocates for more inclusivity and local value creation in the mobility systems in Africa.
