Description

Matteo Grazzi is a senior innovation economist at the Competitiveness, Technology and innovation Division of the Inter-American Development Bank, where he designs and manages programs to promote science, technology, and innovation in Latin America and the Caribbean. Before joining the IDB, Matteo worked at the UN Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) in Santiago, Chile and at the Centre for Research on Latin American and Transition Economies Studies (ISLA) at Bocconi University in Milan. His main research interests include economics of innovation and creativity, green innovation, circular economy, gender and STI, and ICT for development. Matteo holds an MA in development economics from the University of Sussex and a PhD in international law and economics from Bocconi University.
