Description
Dr. Benno Hain is Head of the Division Coordination Center for Climate Issues in the Ministry for Environment, Energy, Climate and Agriculture of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. Before 2021 he worked for the Federal Environment Agency of Germany in different leading positions. His responsibilities included climate projections and scenarios, national and European climate strategies and policies as well as international climate negotiations. He holds a doctorate in Biology of the University of Hannover.
