Matthew Eagle is Managing Director and Head of Global Model Solutions and Advisory at Guy Carpenter. In this role, he is responsible for providing thought and resource leadership for natural and man-made catastrophe risk. Matthew leads cat advisory and model development teams developing solutions and insights to help clients formulate their view of risk for use across all aspects of their business. Matthew has over 26 years of experience in the reinsurance sector with a focus on catastrophe analytics and previously worked in statistical software and consulting. He has an MSc in Statistics from the University of Minnesota and is a fellow of the Royal Statistical Society.
