Presentation

Andrew Prag is currently a Senior Advisor in the OECD Environment Directorate and has more than 15 years’ experience across the energy and environment fields. He is currently coordinating a major cross-OECD project on integrating climate and economic resilience, and has previously been Head of the Environment and Climate Change Unit at the International Energy Agency (IEA). He has led diverse research projects related to energy, climate change, trade and waste policy, and has been closely involved with the UN climate change negotiations (UNFCCC) and the G20 process. Prior to the OECD, Andrew’s early career was in the private sector where he was a principal consultant for Camco Clean Energy, developing renewable energy and carbon credit projects and previously held a variety of roles in the energy sector, including downstream production management with Royal Dutch Shell. He holds an MSc in environmental technology from Imperial College, London, and an MA in natural sciences from Cambridge University, UK.
