Presentation
António holds a Forester MA from the University of Lisbon and Post-graduated in Social Dynamics, Natural and Technological Risks. He is a Phd Candidate in “Territory, Risk and Public Policies”, at the University of Coimbra. Currently, he is a Sub-Regional Fire Management Head at the Portuguese Forest Service. He has international experience in fire management and prescribed fire, with a core interest in: i) fire management; ii) fire adapted communities; iii) fire management towards community empowerment and development; iv) participatory and collaborative art-based methods.
