Description
Ödgärd Andersson is the CEO of Zenseact, a company with the mission to create software for autonomous cars and next generation advanced driver support enabling the next big step in automotive safety. Zenseact is approximately 500 people in Göteborg, Shanghai and developing and launching advanced algorithms based on artificial intelligence and machine learning, together with their owner Volvo Car Group and Polestar as lead customers.
Ödgärd joined Zenseact Nov 2020, and prior to that was the Chief Digital Officer at Volvo Cars, with the mission to create the digital solutions to move business online and to create an interaction with end users suited for the modern software-defined car.
Before moving into the automotive industry in 2016, Ödgärd was the head of Ericsson Göteborg as well as the global VP Packet Core. Ödgärd spent 20 years in telecommunications in Ericsson AB located in Sweden and Silicon Valley and was a part of the journey of telecom networks transforming from hardware-based products to software and services, embedded as well as cloud based.
Ödgärd holds a Master of Science Degree from Chalmers University of Technology and is a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences and of IVA Business Executives Counsel.
