Wout Schellaert is a PhD student at the Universitat Politècnica de València. He conducts research on how to evaluate general-purpose AI systems and how to anticipate AI capabilities. He serves as an advisor on these topics for companies and policy-making bodies. He obtained a B.Sc. and a M.Sc. in Computer Science from Ghent University, Belgium.
