Description
Juan Carchano López works as a Technical Advisor at the Spanish National Institute for Educational Assessment (INEE). He is part of the International Educational Assessments Area, where he has coordinated various large-scale assessments conducted by the OECD and the IEA. In this field, he has been National Project Manager for PIAAC Cycle 2 since 2018, for TALIS 2024 since 2022 and also National Research Coordinator for IEA’s ICCS since 2025.
His background combines international project leadership with classroom and training experience in Spain and the UK specializing in adult training programmes. He holds a degree in English Studies and a Master's Degree in Secondary Education Teacher Training both from the Alcalá de Henares University of Madrid.
