Description
Mark Shorten is VP for Financial Services and Life Sciences for IDA Ireland based in Toronto where he is responsible for the attraction and retention of Canadian foreign direct investment in Ireland. Currently there are c.70 Canadian companies employing over 7,000 people in Ireland. Mark has a degree in International Insurance and European Studies, a Masters in Marketing and a Specialist Purpose Diploma in Aircraft Leasing and Finance all from University of Limerick. Mark is a sports enthusiast and coaches tennis in his spare time.
