Biography
With over 35 years of judicial experience, she is a distinguished graduate in Law and Political Science from the University of Panama, holding a Master’s in Criminal Sciences from the University of Seville. She specialises in Criminal, Economic, and Corporate Law, as well as Commercial, Competition, and Consumer Law, with additional training in risk management, cybersecurity, and anti-bribery systems.
Currently serving as Presiding Magistrate of Panama’s Supreme Court of Justice, she has played a key role in judicial reforms and the coordination of the Accusatory Criminal System. A committed advocate for women’s rights and judicial transparency, she has represented Panama in numerous international forums and is an active member of the IAWJ, ASIPI, and the National Bar Association of Panama.
