Biography
Minister of Justice of the Republic of Latvia since 14 December 2022. She was elected in several previous convocations of the Parliament (Saeima) since 2011. She represents Faction "New Unity" and has been a Deputy Speaker of the Saeima, Chairperson of National Security Committee, Member of Legal Commission, Chairperson of Judicial Policy Subcommittee of Legal Affairs Committee, Head of Latvian Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. Ms Lībina-Egnere holds PhD in Law and is Assistant Professor at the University of Latvia, Civil Law Department.
