The Blue Dot Network offers an internationally recognised certification designed to help countries attract investments that deliver economic, social, environmental, and developmental benefits. On 23 and 24 April 2025, the Blue Dot Network will host two key events. On April 23, the Executive Consultation Group will bring together leaders from business, civil society, trade unions, and academia who have contributed to the certification framework since 2021. On April 24, the Certification Award Ceremony will take place immediately before the 2025 Infrastructure Governance Forum.

The Certification Award Ceremony will celebrate the first infrastructure projects to have earned the Blue Dot certification for meeting the highest standards of sustainability and delivering positive economic, social, and environmental outcomes. This distinguished event highlights global leadership and innovation in responsible infrastructure development. 
The ceremony is open to all participants of the 2025 Conference on Infrastructure Governance.

Call for projects

The Blue Dot Network certification applies to infrastructure projects across major sectors, including energy, water and sanitation, transport, and ICT. It can accommodate projects at different stages of the lifecycle, from planning and preparation to construction and operations. 

We encourage stakeholders seeking to benefit from the Blue Dot Network’s first round of certification to submit projects for consideration here. The Secretariat will review submissions and revert to selected projects with further information. To find out more about the Blue Dot Network, visit www.bluedot-nertwork.org. Projects developed under various ownership and delivery models (e.g., traditional procurement, public-private partnerships, or privatized models) can also be certified.
