Description
Mark is a panel member of the UN's Tax Inspectors without Borders - Criminal Investigations (TIWB-CI). He is currently the Director of the ATO's Intelligence & Assessment Team, collaborating with others to deliver actionable insights from disparate data and information. These outputs support the disruption and investigation of serious and organised crime, both domestically and overseas.
Mark has spent 28 years in law enforcement and regulatory roles, covering complex criminal investigations as a Detective, including counter terrorism, homicide and financial crime.
Mark was part of a national panel of specialist instructors across the UK delivering training to all UK and several European police forces in various disciplines including covert surveillance.
At the ATO Mark has led the Strategic Intelligence and capability teams, the ATO Identity Crime strategy and been the key relationship manager for all Australian Government agencies to assist them to extract value from the Australian Business Register.
