Began his career with Canada Revenue Agency in 1997 as a financial auditor of corporations, partnerships and proprietorships. In 2002, joined the Criminal Investigations Division, CRA, as a criminal investigator for tax evasion, VAT offences, and fraud. Current manager with the Criminal Investigations Division for the Pacific Region, Canada, leading a team of criminal investigators.
