Anna Banczyk is a Deputy Head of Unit “Future of Work, Youth Employment” in the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion (DG EMPL). She has an academic background in sociology and psychology and professional experience as a researcher and HR management specialist. Since joining DG EMPL in 2015 Anna has been focusing on policy development and evaluation in the area of working conditions and occupational safety and health. In her current position Anna works on topics related to digitalisation and new forms of work and work organisation, such as platform work, algorithmic management and telework.
